The challenge
WhatsApp requests needed stock, offer and logistics context from separate systems.
What we built
A Claude-powered conversation flow connected SAP stock, commercial follow-up and internal logistics handoffs.
What changed
22.5% sales conversion in WhatsApp, as reported. The eligible cohort and denominator were not supplied.
Context and problem
Commercial conversations needed current stock context and a connected handoff into the logistics operation.
What we built
Implementation at a glance
Connect WhatsApp conversations with SAP stock information.
Support sales follow-up using the reported Claude-powered assistant.
Coordinate internal logistics workflows and operating visibility.
Implementation details
Product and purchase enquiries arrived through WhatsApp. A useful answer depended on more than a conversation: the team needed warehouse availability, current offers, a record for commercial follow-up and a route into service or logistics work. Those responsibilities lived in different systems. The implementation connected them around the customer request so the next team could continue with the right context.
Give the conversation business context
WhatsApp API carried messages and Claude API supplied conversational intelligence. The application connected SAP warehouse stock with stakeholder-maintained Airtable offers, discount codes and bundles. This kept the model service and the business source systems in distinct roles.
Carry the request into the operation
HighLevel supported lead capture and commercial follow-up. Intercom provided conversation continuity and human support handoff. Automatic internal communications and SAP-connected context extended the workflow into logistics attention, beyond the chatbot interface.
Make operating activity visible
Supabase held custom events, success metrics and logs, while Looker presented performance reporting for stakeholders. Those records supported visibility into the connected process; the case does not establish a specific production schema, payment flow or SAP write operation.

Results and evidence
The project reports a 22.5% sales conversion rate in WhatsApp and US$75,000+ revenue over five months. The eligible conversion cohort and denominator were not supplied, and the revenue figure does not establish incremental lift. Development took two months, a separate period from the five-month revenue window. These are reported commercial outcomes, not a guaranteed result for another business.
Relevance and PDF contents
This pattern is useful when a customer request still requires someone to check stock, find an offer and pass the conversation to another team. Start with one request, the systems that own its facts and a clearly assigned next action. The full PDF explains those responsibilities and includes a practical readiness worksheet.
